Vintage Guide
There are many important variables in selecting great wines - particularly those that may be considered for serious cellar candidates or for future investments. Two elements that should always be considered is the area and the year the wine was grown.
Certain vintages for particular growing areas are designated as "extraordinary vintages" while others may be "less than ideal". This will often have a direct and substantial impact on current and future wine quality and demand.
The table below is intended to be general reference tool - when you have the choice between two apparently similar wines - we would recommend that the best vintage be chosen - and if possible an exceptional vintage be considered.
