The wines we offer are a result of recommendations made by a wide variety of experts and enthusiasts; wine makers, sommeliers, restaurant owners, wholesalers, retailers - and valued friends that share our passion for great wines. Our wines represent their favorites - and these individuals make up our review panels for finding and profiling great wines.

Every wine we offer has been evaluated by our review panel and identified as of exception value and worthy of your investment.

Rating Process

Our wines are profiled and rated using a sophisticated, highly customized and proven rating system.

We use a mix of both traditional and non traditional indicators to measure both wine consistency and quality - as well as take into account a number of unique value considerations to arrive at a final wine recommendation rating.

Wine profiles and quality evaluations are completed utilizing both analytical and subjective evaluations, including provisions for recognizing and rating wines of extraordinary quality including overwhelming richness, complexity and grace.

Our rating profile also indicates a higher score for those wines that are produced in vineyards of exceptional reputation, produced in outstanding vintages, and those wines of a quality that represents significant value/lower cost relative to other wines of similar quality.
